Tip Top-PVD TiCh without Chrome Plating with Flanged H Ring (Hard Aluminum Oxide) - All Forecast tip top ceramic rings are carefully ground on the outside edge for perfect concentricity which enhances ceramic ring to guide frame fit. This tighter fit between the ring and the frame makes the guides more durable, and provides a more even gluing surface that helps prevent rings popping out from the frame.

All versions of SS304 frames have passed the ASTM-B117 salt spray test for over 20 straight days (or 60 eight hour fishing trips) without any hint of corrosion due to saltwater exposure.

Forecast tip top frames go through a proprietary tumbling process to assure a smooth, flawless finish. This proprietary process also enhances the plating quality by improving the bond between the plating and the frame surface.

All Forecast tip top guide rings are carefully glued on each side of the frame with a proprietary bonding agent for superb adhesion of the guide ring to guide frame. Bottom line... your rings will not pop out of the guide frame.
